In an instance I heard about once, the city had crapoy roads, a guy hit a pothole and it damaged his rim, a very expensive rim. He complained and eventually the city had to pay for repairs, which ended up being an entire set of new rims, at about a $4500.00 price tag, because the original rims were discontinued and only one rim being replaced was no longer an option. The following year that road got repaved.

There is no pot holes on the road leading up to Gov Scotts
Multi-million dollar beach front mansion in Boca Raton Florida.
He really appreciates all the votes he received from North West Florida
That put him back in Office. This is what you voted for.

At least repave/widen up to Jacks Branch...There are always potholes and the rain waters puddle in the road. You never know when a patched hole is going to open back up.

Yes, you do have to live within the budget.

Maybe if the Governor hadn't wasted millions of our dollars on frivolous, doomed lawsuits and trying to evade the Sunshine Law this project could have been funded.

Not going to fix potholes at all. Why ? So all the trucks that come to paper mill can tear it up again. Or all the trucks which come down 112 just to avoid the scales on hwy 90 or I-10. Kinda the same way they shouldn't fix 95-a in front of Pensacola Ready Mix.

Some one in our elected commissioners ask for a complete redo from Hwy 29 to the Alabama line. That isn't needed to take care of what is the roughest portion of Muscogee Rd. About one mile from Hwy 29 to Hwy 297A. The people in the capitol don't know what it is like over here, and they will not send someone over here to look at the problem. What we need to to is Vote these commissioners out of office and get someone in that can really relay to the capitol of our needs.

Hey folks, don't blame Scott. It's called living within your budget. I am certain that other areas of the state received similar cuts too. Sure, all of these proposed projects were worth it, justified, & some needed more than others. Just because you want something & think you need it, doesn't mean you can afford it. If everyone got State money for every project they wanted, the budget would probably be 10 times what it presently is. Just remember where that money comes from. Scott & the State & don't print money--it comes from YOU the taxpayer, who are the first to complain when your taxes go up, to pay for all of these nice things you want.

No problems on Muscogee Road? Really? What about the pot holes on the last 2 miles before hitting the state line at the river? What about no street lights that work on Muscogee Road? Continue to ignore Cantonment so that it can become the ghetto that the government wants it to be. Great Job Gov Scott and everyone that voted for him and the people that didn't go and vote at all.
