Dustin was loved by her in the deepest way possible. What she saw, and what she is going thru is more than one person should ever have to endure. Constantly lifting her, his friends and family up in prayer. Thank you to PPD for your timely arrest. Now let’s hope justice will be served, finally.

Dustin was my brother in law. This is so unreal. I’m glad they caught the man who did this and I hope and pray he gets the entire book thrown at him. He didn’t deserve this. Our uncle was killed in a similar way, another senseless death. I thank the man and lady who tried to help him during his last moments and thank him in advance for saying he will see this through to the end. I wish people would stop trying to solve their issues with violence. We will miss our brother Dusty…he was loved by so many besides family. Rest Peacefully, Dusty.

I don’t know the particulars of this case.. just what I’ve read. I’m so over this “convicted felon with gun not supposed to have committing murder/ assault/ robbery.. The law (apparently) has no teeth.. and never has. Or it wouldn’t happen so frequently with such regretable consequense.

He has had a long and unpleasant relationship with the Escambia Judicial system.
Very sad.

I wonder if this is why sometimes when people violate probation, the original sentences are imposed even if there was originally withholding of adjudication in hopes of repentance and reform.
It is interesting how so many oppose the practice.
At least he didn’t try to strangle this one (if he did indeed do this deed, of course)..

This is the second family member in our family killed by a convicted felon
The first murderer got off Scott free. I pray this one will not. A corupt judge got the first one off. She is still a judge thank god she’s not if Florida
I pray for this country where people kill someone for something

Stop footing the bill for convicted felons released to kill . Dusty was my nephew and
His family loved him .

I am so tired of reading about ppl getting killed in Pcola. Im not blaming the judges as they have guidelines they must follow in sentencing these idiots. Glad he was caught and hopefully will be off the streets for a long time. It senseless.

And, again, gun laws made no difference. Instead of making honest, law-abiding people defenseless with more and more gun-control laws (however you choose to dress them up with nice or ambiguous sounding titles), we need more control of crominals, and tougher laws for the violation of existing laws.

Yet another convicted felon with a firearm being charged with murder, what is this 2 or 3 within the last week? The judges and the judicial system needs to be held accountable for not keeping these scumbags in prison in the first place, the taxpayers deserve better for the burden we bear…
