We know the feeling . Family lost everything in a house fire a year and half ago and then came really close like 8 months ago . Condolences and prayers go out to the family .

John White, maybe you should do some research before jumping to conclusions about things, go pull some public records or talk to people who may have been there.

These folks lost everything and you want to suddenly begin blaming the firefighters, what if the firefighters were on another call, possibly saving the life of a child, or maybe one of your relatives. All I ask is maybe next time think before you speak.

These folks did a lot for the community, and from what I understand, it was the firefighters who actually went back and helped the family look for and try to salvage what they could.

My heart goes out to the family, and yes, thank God no one was hurt. Things can be replaced. Having said that, to have everything destroyed, all the keepsakes, Heirlooms, the photographs, must be devastating.

Well cantonment has a 24hr paid fire crew at the station and this house is not far from the station and they still had all this damage boy you would think from the all the post from wear that they could stop anything but lets raise the fire tax for this when they might have 10 house fires a year in cantonment

I had a house fire back in 2001. I live out in Cantonment as well. Our house went up in flames in about eight minutes. Lost everything. I have lost parents, husband, sisters, and friends, but the feeling I went through after that house fire is something I have never been through before and I don’t want to ever go through it again. Our fire was caused by alum. wiring. So, I pray that God will get them through this, cause it will be one of the most devastating thing you will ever go through. Just glad everyone got out safe. May God bless you, and keep you safe.

We were going some where and there were bunches of fire trucks and ambulances. It was horribal but we were praying for the people and I guess it worked
