If my skills are diminished, it is because of several factors:

1. Suffering from AGE and CRS.
2. Probably having to deal with some of your relatives in the mid-’60’s and ’70’s.
3. Finally to have a person correct or criticize without pointing to what the “atrocious” mistakes were. I’m open to suggestion and correction.

Go in peace, dear child, and know that I have made mistakes, but never one that would be a disgrace to me or my family…just sayin!

As the assistant principal of a school, you should have a much better grasp of the English language. Your grammar and punctuation skills are atrocious!

And we wonder why children graduate who cannot read or write…

Seems a bit extreme for a school to go into full lockdown over an alleged knife & a fist. Let’s all cool it & ease up on the hysteria. Hehe, next they’ll be calling in SWAT Teams for “push me, shove you” fights.

Maybe the 16 year old was fixing to graduate from middle school and in four years graduate at the age of 20 from high school. But being 16 they are old enough to quit school and become tax paying citizens !!!

When I retired after 39 years in 2002, in the field of trying to educate our children, this would have been unheard of. Copy cat behavior. Make an example of this person!
Cane him in the Lon R. Wise Stadium at halftime during an upcoming football game.

When at Ferry Pass Junior High(prior to the Middle School Morass) I, as the asst. Principal took a pistol off a student that had stolen it from a car at the Scenic Hills Bar on 9 Mile Rd. The boy and three others left Ninety and Nine Ranch, stole a car and was captured in TN.

Knives were prohibited and the worst a student could do would be being caught smoking…what? Probably a cigarette not any wacky backy.
I encounter former students all the time and for the most part they turned out just fine. Many of these people are now grandparents, yet they remember fairness and
adhering to set rules.

However, I’ve had some that got the full scholarship by being sentenced to prison…some for life, some for less….

We must remember,when a hen sets a nest of eggs…all will not hatch. That being said, all children/students will not be successful or be productive…economically speaking!
