All for show, and of course, the citations. Everyone always applauds FWC, ECSO, etc. for enforcing all the "laws" which i suppose is good. The primary motivation however, a revenue source. I picked up a couple on the river who's small boat capsized. When dropping them at the landing, FWC jumps out the bushes and tickets me for not having enough life jackets. Tried to fight in court showing the dangers of a high river level. Ultimately had to pay. Guess next time i'll have to say, "Sorry, don't have enough life vests." It’s all irrelevant anyway. They left their own bags of garbage dumped half in the gutter and on the road side of my street. They hardly picked up anything. It looks more like they went through people's trash piles and selected what if anything to take away. And where was the notice that this was going to take place?
