The FACT that "ONE" Person in the Senate can block a bill from coming up for a vote. Why do we elect Members to the Senate or House, if ONE Person can block a bill from even getting to the floor. Of course, it is the same way in Washington, and that needs to change. Just because that person in the Seat of Power does not like a bill, they should still have to allow a vote of the full Senate or House. One Person should not have that much power!
