I have known Ms. Hattie as long as I can remember and I am 82. I have often thought about the many things she experienced over her lifetime, good and bad. Thinking back to the tragic death of her sister, up to the recent death of her only child, who was her heart. Even in the tough times she stayed positive and had a smile to share! I will miss your sweet smile and kiss on the cheek Ms. Hattie! My deepest sympathy to her family.

I have only known Mrs. Hattie for 5 or so years that I worked at specialty. But what an impact she made. My wife would bring her Girl Scout troop every year at Christmas to sing to the residents. Mrs Hattie enjoyed that so much. She would always give me a hard time about my goatee. My two girls loved to visit Mrs Hattie anytime they came to the facility. She always had a smile on her face and showed genuine concern for others. No more pain she is with her lord and savior. Peace Mrs Hattie.

I met Ms. Hattie when I owned Pam’s Smokehouse in Molino back in 1993-95 the first day I opened we had lima beans on our buffet and she ask me did I put any blue in the lima’s I said no mama I didn’t why she said so when I fart it will be a blue streak I thought I was going to die laughing, what a joy it was to be a part of this beautiful ladies life and her families also….God bless each one of you, yall will be in our prayers and thoughts always….

Aunt Hattie was my Daddy’s sister, she will be so missed. I have so many fun memories of her, she was such a joy and could tell you a joke that would cause you to laugh til you cried. Never did we go to see her that she was not smiling and so happy and thankful that you had taken the time to come and visit. Her memory was amazing, at her age she still knew us all and lots of things about us and everyone else. When my sisters and I would go visit she would ask each one of us about our husbands and children by name. She was our last connection to our Daddy but I am so thankful that she was with us for 106 years with her right mind. Everytime we visited she would say to us, I pray for you all every night. I will miss this sweet, wonderful woman more than she will ever know. Love you Aunt Hattie, your niece Darlene

I used to visit Mrs. Hattie and her husband to take them tapes from the church services. She was always smiling and happy, no matter what was going on. I always left my visit felling thankful that I had the opportunity to visit with her.

Mrs. Hattie was so much fun and so sweet! I remember when we first moved here she was so nice to me and my mom, and used to make us laugh so hard! She will be missed by many people! My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
