I need these video visits. I didnt do anything wrong and I should not be punished by limiting my visit with my son. Go to website, the visitation is free from 8- 5 Mon - Fri. Florida jails only have to provide 2 hours of visitation per week. If you want to visit outside of the 2 hours, then you have to pay. Tax payers do not pay for these systems, they use the inmate welfare fund and all proceeds from the system go back into the fund to provide programs to inmates (read Florida State Statues). That jail is using funds to establish a reentry program for inmates from the welfare fund- read the information on the website. All jails offer ATM's for family members to place money on their accounts for commissary and for collect phone calls. I researched this all in 30 minutes, please do the same. HOME WAVE, the vendor for this system, provides the equipment for free and then charges inmates families $30 per hour for a skype like video call.
