My sympathies to Gerald’s family and many friends! It was so good to be with Gerald at our class reunion last year and remember fond memories from elementary and high school days. Let us all treasure our times together. God’s blessings on all.

CHS students are like family. We spent 6 – 7 years together. We all had good fun back then. My prayers to his family, I know he will be missed.

I worked with Gerald off an on since 1977, he was always a great guy with an
absolute hilarious sense of humor. I will remember him for his ability to
lighten the mood in tense situations. He was also a great football coach in
Little League and could have coached at any level. RIP friend.

Gerald was a great Century “Blackcat” football player—and one of the original “survivors” of Coach Lewis’s teams. He was my friend since the 7th grade at Century and things were not “complete” unless Gerald was there. We had a lot of “fun” together growing up but we lost contact with each other for awhile until later in life. We would call each other about once a month, talk about past times, and just about every subject in the book. I am grateful we were able to renew our friendship as old men. I will miss our phone calls, my friend, but based on our last conversation, I know you are at peace in heaven with Jesus.
