Ps, Kate. Don’t for one second think the the Republicans are the only ones to walk out on the job.
March of 2013, Democrats walked out on legislation to consolidate federal job-training programs. June of 2012, Democrats walked out on a vote to hold Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.
I could fill this page up with simialr situations of both parties taking their ball and going home, so don’t pretend that your precious Democrats are in any way innocent.

Any job I have ever held, if you walked off the job and were absent for 3 consecutive days, it was considered voluntary resignation.
Fire each and every one of these crooks and hold special elections to replace them all.

You don’t believe that the bigger part of the problem with Congress is republicans, well now you can see it at the State level. Won’t stay and do their job, won’t vote to end the stalemate, a number of issues should concern you deeply. They would prefer to attack government than govern.
