I considered her my friend as well. She was so soft spoken. I always learned something from her. We talked about JESUS , politics, gardening, family, receipies, and geneology. When I made a mistake with her hair appt. ,and had to move her appt., she told me I did the right thing.I'm going to miss my one on one time with her.She always lifted me up Prayers to all who love her. Lil & John opened their home to us many times each year and we always loved visiting with them. Her passing is a great loss for all. Our prayers are with John and his family as well as the community. We have read many tributes to her online. All of the kind words and tributes are the same. Everyone loved her as a person, leader, her service to the community, role model, and above all a loving, christian lady who loved her family and friends unconditionally. We missed her immediately this past week, as we attended her Uncle Jim's services in Pace. We know she and John would have been right there with all of the extended Harris Family. Some of the comments describe Lil being in paradise with the Lord and Savior and with the other family members. This does give much comfort in the void left here on earth. God bless each and every member of the family and friends that meant so very much to her and most of all, Lil to all of us. She was a one fine lady......and until we meet again.......RIP, Lil'. John, it seems only yesterday I was late getting to ya'lls wedding. She was a special person, a special cousin and loved by so many. Her presence at the feet of The King only makes us rejoice for her and with her. Her life here on earth was a blessing, her smile was contagious and her deep love for John and family was to be envied. Heaven's portals are full of glory today with her very presence. "Meet us at The Gates, dear Lil. We'll be there one day and what a sweet reunion that will be. See you there, sweet cousin."
