Austin Hixon I am James’ Aunt Kay Kay and I so appreciate your sweet comforting words. You are 10 years old and speak such precious heartfelt wisdom. I think I can speak for our whole family in saying ” We Love You and Your Brother”. God was in control Saturday night and I believe he spared your Brother for a reason! Austin,
You are a very sweet boy, but you don’t need to apologize for anything, it was just a terrible, unfortunate accident. I’m sure your brother is hurting too. He was very concerned about James at the wreck site. He kept telling the firemen over and over to check on his friend. I pray for James family as well as yours. But it was an accident, not done on purpose. I will say a prayer for your brother because I know he loved his friend very much going by his reaction at the scene. I will be praying for everyone involved.

James was a fine young man. I remember the first time I seen him I was taking a hunter safety course and he walked in and we’ve been friends ever since. Haven’t seen in about two months. Rest in peace my friend.
