It had to do with turning the monetary/banking system over to special interest. It had to do with supporting middle east land grabs and one opened ended war after another to the tune of 18,000,000,000,000., unbridled immigration and on and on. It is easy to blame pot for our leaders blunders, and comforting to have a stiff drink and a cigarette to get over it. Hypocrisy! @Phillip, the fall of America had nothing to do with pot. How many stupid things have been done in the past few years? Many. So why do we need to add more mind altered people to the mix? Are you pro drug people on drugs? I guess the fall of the Roman empire came because the people were fat dumb and happy and got bored with being on top. Oh well, I guess history does say over and over that one generation of idiots does a civilization doom and the cycle starts over.
