I was not awarded half of what we earned over a period of more than thirty years of marriage. I feel that this bill is a breach of contract. I gave up my entire life for a person that was constantly persuading a dark life. I think this bill needs to be thought. There are many women that had to do what they had to do to just get through what they had to endure for their families. If I was your mom, how would you vote? To overcome the assumption, the spouse seeking support will need to convince the court that she or he has made a good effort to earn income or to develop skills to provide for basic needs during the separation and divorce proceedings. Texas has it right:

Really, if you are married to a backwards man who refuses to let you work, and you want to work, you divorce said man for being a control freak. If you stay in such a relationship, it is because you wanted to stay or were not grown up enough to leave when you should. There is no guarantee of having spouses income during marriage, there should be no guarantee of it after marriage - except for child support. The kids were grown at yhe time of divorce. She was having an affair absent him for another guy. Then lived with him gor 10 years until he dumped her. Yes there are those still in existence... You can not have a SET guide, because there are too many variables.
