It is definitely possible that the person put the dog in their vehicle to try and get help after your baby was hit. I hope you will find him soon. Don’t forget there is a classified section on NorthEscambia also so you can run an ad that will be available longer.

I can understand if there is not a collar for identification why a person would not just leave the dog in the road. If I hit one, I would try to help it as best that I could. The owner should check out leads like the McDavid mini mart and/or call local vets.

Quite a while ago, someone ran over my sisters cat just as she was pulling into her driveway. Then when she got her kids inside and went outside to check the dead cat, it had vanished. We think the guy who hit him took him. People are just weird nowadays.

My pit bull also got hit Friday. The boy came to the door and said I barely hit her, and she ran off into the woods. We still can’t find her.

I was coming into Mcdavid yesterday afternoon and a dog caught my eye. It was grey with a white chest and belly and im not sure but I almost KNOW it was a pit. I don’t know if this was your dog or not but maybe it’s worth a look. I seen him about 1/2 mile south of the Mcdavid mini mart sitting beside hwy 29. I hope this may help!
