I was told one time by a smart old preacher not to judge a man until you have walked in that man’s shoes. So you that don’t know Mr . Marshell belive it or not he is a good person just made a bad mistake. And all make them good an bad ones. The Lord said one time that he that is without sin cast the first stone. What happened to the mandatory sentencing under Florida’s 10-20-Life?? The law is useless if the justice system does not apply it justly!! This incident clearly met the criteria for prosecution under those statues.

Community control could be placement in a work-release program, some sort of treatment facility, going to court ordered treatments (anger management, alcohol classes, drug classes, et cetera) or performing supervised community service. He may also be allowed to stay at home and go to work throughout the week, and then spend the weekends in jail (this is another option, but I forget what it is called).
