The sentence is light compared to all they did along with firing a gun at the victim in hot pursuit. For his quick thinking and not willing to give it up and let it go the THUGS were caught and now they have a long time to stay in the SLAMMER to meditate over just how it went wrong. BAD PLANNING and maybe not knowing the POPO were virtually on top of them or were so desperate they didn't care that the parking lot at WALLY WORLD is always near full. They were so desperate to obtain money so they saw this as the closest thing to money or to turn it into money they couldn't rationally think about the consequences. I will speculate the reason behind this was not to purchase VALENTINE gifts for their ladies but rather on the selfish side to obtain DOPE for themselves. I was in prison for 58 months and continually heard other inmates talking about what they did and how it went wrong and were making plans on how to do it better to avoid getting caught next time. There is no rehabilitation in prison but rather a schooling on how not to get caught when they get out. In 17 and 20 years these can make plenty of plans to be more successful next time but the best plan is to quit the FOOLISHNESS and turn to HONESTY. JUST US FOR ALL.
