This was the first one I have attended. The line was LONG, but steady. You didn’t mind the line because of the great smell of the food cooking. Looking forward to next year!

I remember most of my life my Daddy, John Henry Vaughan, Ronald Bryan and Coach Lathem cooking fish and hush puppies for the VFD. Great memories!!

Thanks for sharing, I really miss going to the Fish Fry and seeing everyone. I have wonderful memories of Walnut Hill’s firefighters, past and present. What a wonderful group to be raised around! Daddy was always so proud of “his people”. Mama still enjoys being a part of the department. It’s a lot of work for the firefighters, so I hope everyone stops by for a plate tomorrow, the food is wonderful!
