I just wanted to say when I got flooded in Bristol Park Subdivision in Cantonment, the Mennonites from Walnut Hill were the first volunteers to offer help. I was not around the first day because I was trying to obtain a rental car and start a FEMA application at work, but the Mennonites kept calling until they were able to meet me up at the house. They were very accommodating and so helpful. God bless them for their kindness, as I really found them to be the most thoughtful of people, and they were very eager to help with the cleanup. I am very grateful that they came to my house to help, and I am sure they will obtain great rewards in Heaven for all of their thoughtful gestures.

I am glad the Mennonites are part of the community and part of the fire dept. we have to remember all other religions that go along with rest of the dept. The Mennonites have been a part of my life but not my religion and they don't preach at you for beleving in other things.
sorry not trying to preach, me
prayer's to all of local response teams

We better appreciate the Mennonites here in Walnut Hill! They fed us fried fish and grilled chicken with all the trimmings and thanks to all that supported the fire department! I saw them drop what they were doing today and go fight this fire! Oh yeah, if you support them or not, they will be the first face you'll see in your most time of emergency! Just saying!
