They have helped two (2) families who lost all during the April 29, 2014 flood event. This expansion of a holding pond in this area was sorely needed. Our property is next to this holding pond and we lost over $1 million dollars of machines in our machine shop which has been in service since 1976 with no flooding ever. It took eight (8) days for the more than 48" of water to drain away. Thank you Steven Barry for your tireless effort, this is great news to our neighborhood and all of the citizens of Escambia County. I congratulate the county.
