This is really very sad. This lady is a senior citizen and will not do well in jail. Tragic how alcohol and/or drugs can influence people to do crazy things.

I thought moonshine was only illegal if you sell it. Personal use (in moderation) is ok. Woman in article may use time on hand to now study “moderation.”

Actually, “lead” is correct. The word is lead, pronounced like “leed”. The spelling has a couple pronunciations and meanings. Good thing you are not a writer.

I’ve seen a recipe for apple pie liquor, a warm fall drink made with Everclear which is a very high proof alcohol banned in about 13 states, It is very dangerous and intense intoxication can come very fast.
