Everyone pays into it, residents, tourists, those just passing thru and buying food or gasoline participate. This is NOT an increase of taxes but a continuation of a present tax upon all persons. LOST funds many projects in our county that would otherwise not get done. Before saying NO to the LOST answer yourself two things: 1...what county services are you willing to give up? 2...are you ready for an increase in your property tax to pay for needed things such as roads and drainage.? I plan to vote Yes to continue the LOST as it does good things for all of us and all of us pay into it with each taxable purchase, not only county residents and property owners. The L.O.S.T. is best option for getting needed things done.
