Prior to the flood, I had been going (still am) through a nasty divorce and custody battle, and this added to the dilemma, among other things I have experienced since then. If only you knew all I have been through ever since... But, I do appreciate your prayers, as that is all I have to lean on. I know that God can turn a bad situation around, and I pray that He presents a miracle soon. I know He is capable. Thanks again. Thank you also to the rescuers. They saved many people that night, putting their own lives in danger as well. It was a very bad night. God bless those who put others before them. Thank you very much, dman. I must applaud the strong, quick response from our officials and the community. For an area that's known it's share of hurricanes, we can now add flooding and ice storms to the list. Pensacola, FL...what a strange place you are. Sarah- so sorry for the year you've had. I know it's little comfort knowing that so many others suffered from this Biblical-like disaster. I know of several good people who lost nearly everything on that night. Many have rebounded, some have struggled more than others. Keep your chin up and stay strong. What was meant for evil will come back for the good of those who put their trust in the Lord. My prayers are with you. Seems like it was just yesterday!
