Children in today's world did not ask for the abuse they are enduring. DCF can't or will not do their job, and haven't for many years now. It's heart breaking to see and hear about so many children that have lost their lives. Then again, people wonder why we have so many in the justice system at a young age. It's all they know and feel like no one really cares! It's time for us to step up and mentor these children. Let them know they are not alone and someone does care.
