Anyone who would rather be on Medicaid and thinks this is a good thing has a serious perception problem. None of this is “free” it costs those of us who work and who have had our insurance premium DOUBLE. I’m sure some people “get it” but other people are paying for it

WOW!! Henry gets it, thank God someone does. expanding Medicaid does exactly what Henry says, it decreases the cost to all citizens. IF people weren’t so busy staying ignorant and so anti- everything government, they might learn a few things about reality.

More government, more welfare compliments of the worst President in US history.if you don’t believe that, just ask the Kurds in Kobani. Meanwhile, it’s amazing to me that anyone would vote for Crist in that he seemingly is just a politician who is out for himself. It’s no longer about Dems or Repubs, it’s about trying trying to get the best candidates into office and I fail to see how you can accomplish the task with such tired, worn out retread candidates as Crist.

The reason extending Medicaid is a good idea is because the Republicans stopped the Public Option Insurance from being in the ACA. Without the Public Option or the Medicaid Extension, people end up in Emergency Rooms having bills they can’t afford to pay and those cost get passed on in the form of hospitals charging higher prices to cover their loses from the Bill that people can’t pay.
I can see why Scott, who is in the Health Care For Profit business would have mixed feelings about it. If everyone’s bills are getting paid, then clinics and hospitals like the ones owned by Rick Scott’s wife, wink wink, can’t justify charging 300 dollars for a bag of salt water or 60 dollars for two tylenol.
Health Care cost would drop for everyone if everyone is covered by insurance and people who can get to a doctor regularly, stay healthier and there would be less of a chance for people ending up in the ER for non-emergency care.
