My sister, Patricia Freeman, just told me about Ann’s passing. We knew Ann when were all children and went to school at Bratt. Her mother, Vera, and my mother were great friends. Ann was a few years older than me and I remember her looking out for me. I always thought she was beautiful and I remember her big happy laugh. I hadn’t seen Ann in many, many years but I am so happy to hear that she was a Christian. I look forward to seeing her in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, I know they will miss her.

Loved Ann, she was a special lady. Always there for anyone. When I had my knee surgery she bought us a big ole meal and put it on my front porch and then called me and said I left something on your porch. Never heard her come up. She was that kind of lady, so caring and loving. Praying for comfort for family and friends.

my prayers to all in the loss of this wonderful woman…she was always there….ready with kindness and comforting words from her heart. I always enjoyed my talks with Ann…you never walked away with an empty heart….but you always left with a little bit of her heart….she was giving to a fault but never saw it that way…helping and giving was a way of life for her…I will miss you old friend…there is comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain but are with the Lord God.

Heaven has received a wonderful angel. I’m truly blessed to have known Annie Fannie. She was a one of a kind, always laughing and smiling she was a trusting sole to all and I will always always miss my friend. She loved her Big Daddy , children and grand kids so much, what a truly wonderful lady she was.

Ann Sims was a true servant for her church, her community, and her family.
She had the brightest smile and the hardiest laugh. I remember in particular
her service to Christene Black, a neighbor, a friend, a confidante. Many
other people were the receivers of her generosity. Many times, when I was
walking, she always stopped to see if I needed help. On occasions, when she
knew I was doing a particular ministry that needed financial support, she would supply some of the dollars that made it easier for me to do what I was doing.
Never wanted credit for any good deed. She was truly an inspiration. She had a true Mother’s heart. Of course, as a family, youall knew that!!

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Ann. She was such a sweet soul. I have known her all my life. She would come by and visit with my mom while she battled cancer. She was an awesome person and will be missed dearly.
