I can say it is time for a big change at the sheffifs departmeant from the sheffifs all the way down to the jail staff escambia county needs to wake up and put the right man in office for the job we dont need mickey mouse and his pals in office i used to work for them so i am pround to support heath Jackson for escambia county sheffif

I worked for Grover some years ago, and I will have to say, it is time for a change. As a matter of fact, it has been time for a change for some time now. All you people who THINK you know the Sheriff must not have worked for him. Until you do, you never really know how things work at the Escambia County Alabama Sheriff’s Office. All you know is what the Sheriff allows to be printed in the papers.

“Nothing against the “young man” running, but lets keep experience in and don’t fix whats not broken.”

This “young man” is only about 5 years younger than JFK was when he was elected president, so I don’t think his age is really an issue. As for experience, I don’t think the incumbent can point to the vast experience Heath has in his decade and a half of law enforcement. Experience working with ATF, Drug Task Force, DEA, local Escambia agencies, and Escambia County, Florida Sheriff’s Office where he has conducted more investigations in 8 years than most LEOs will in their entire careers.

Narcotics, homicide and patrol, Heath knows the ins and outs of law enforcement, to include current trends, topics and the latest investigatory techniques. Heath has fostered relationships with numerous agencies, local, state and federal, and has the ability to call on other agencies to assist Escambia County, at no expense to the taxpayers.

Law enforcement has changed in the last decades, and though Grover has done well, Heath will do better for Escambia. It’s your opportunity to elect a sheriff who will lead your agency, your county, into the future instead of relying on how things have always been done.

As a former deputy for ECSO, I can honestly, and proudly commend Heath Jackson for his diligent fight to become the FIRST Republican Sheriff for Escambia County Alabama! Knowing Heath and his professional dedication to Law Enforcement, I know that he’s the perfect candidate to replace the current Politician and deplete his crony figure heads!
