Can you just say your prayers? he is gone and we can’t do anything about it. Yes it was his fault for being out in the road but it already happened. I knew this kid he went to my school and I knew he was a great and funny kid so just please stop bickering about why he was up and just say your prayers.

Kelly they do have the cheap noise makers when a door is opened but you can turn it off or even just pry it off the door. If you think your child is sleeping safely in their beds what more can you do? If they want to get out they will.

Prayers for BOTH families. I can’t imagine the pain they are both going through. One the loss of a child and the other to mistakenly kill someone on the road. Terrible.

I read all of the comments and still feel that it is the parent’s responsibility. There are alarms, which not only notify you if someone breaks into the house, but also if someone LEAVES the house. There are ones that aren’t expensive, and they don’t have to be monitored to alert you. This is part of keeping your kids safe.

Where i live u am glad my girls was scared to get out that time of the morning a dirt road lakes and trees. can’t blame the patents if there child sneaks out and gets killedif the parents was sleeping kids theses days think they are grown.Everyone needs prayer. God bless them all.
