Would it really be so bad if cancer patients got a little euphoria along with their medicine? God knows they aren't getting a lot from any other source. I generally support law enforcement, but a lot of police departments have made a lot of money through asset seizures from those arrested for a bag of weed. I'm certain that a lot of the opposition from law enforcement stems from the loss of a lucrative revenue stream, and is not based on the merits. If you know a LEO, ask them who they would rather arrest, someone high on pot, or someone whose drunk, and see what they say.

I am an adult. I long to be free. I work and pay taxes. Leave me alone and mind your own business. If your against it, don't do it. If you ever compare the way you feel the next day using alcohol vs pot, you will immediately know which one is more detrimental to your mind, body, and overall health. One makes you feel like you have been poisoned, which is an accurate conclusion, and the other does not. Please leave adults alone.

"The “Vote No on 2″ campaign recently nailed down the backing of seven former Florida Supreme Court justices, who joined associations representing Florida sheriffs and police chiefs in opposition."

Mark my word… these folk will be on the wrong side of the voting booth in November. These seven court justices are "former" which in today’s terms make them irrelevant as past have beens. History proves that the Eighteenth Amendment didn't work. Therefore, if the people want it, the legislature, governor, and courts better quickly get on board and figure it out or they run the risk of being terminated in a future vote that will soon put most of them out of office.
