I hate a thief, the penalties for thieves are not severe enough and the victim usually will never see thier property again nor do the courts do justice for victims, the courts only seem interested in awarding restitution to the court, not in favor of the victim. I experienced this first hand, the thief was caught red handed and the court let him off with a years probabtion and restitution only for court cost. I never saw my boat motor and gear again.The justice system is not for victims anymore, it’s for the convienence of the court and only worries about what the court can get out of it, not what is right and just for the victims.

This is SHAMEFUL…other company vehicles were at this job site and this vehicle was the only one stolen. These are hardworking people that own Ellis Crainworks and the theft of the piece of equipment has effected their ability to complete jobs for other hardworking local people. Someone has info about this theft…do the right thing and contact the authorities!!

About 3 weeks ago, I had a car wash business on highway 29 just past Muscogee Road wash my RV. I went up to pick it up about 4:30 pm that day, and they had not completed the work. The guys stated that 3 men stopped stated that they could finish the next day. The guys thought it was my husband . I truely feel if I would have left it that it would have been stolen. Maybe this business could give you a lead on this men.

The owner will likely be able to find his crane chopped into small pieces in some random scrap yard. Metal theft has become so rampant that many cities are forced to weld manhole covers down to prevent their theft.
