I'm with you on this one... finally. But far too many get paid from the drug industry. A simple charge of possession of pot yields a $1000.00 fine. Ad to that a possible pipe or rolling papers, and you've added another $1000.00. There are also the salarys of jailers, lawyers, judges, bailiffs, probation/parole officers, police and deputies, court reporters, and court security officers as well. There are dozens of others who make money off arrested people like bondsmen, wrecker companys, and people who take care of the children of arrested or incarcerated people. Drug dealers don't make all the money.... LOL I just can't tolerate the idea that Cocaine, Heroin, and meth would be legal. @ Kathy…. I’m with you on this one… finally. It causes crime and a criminal underground. we could have built a thousand interstates, power plants, ect. with the trillions of dollars we have wasted fighting and the trillions that have went to drug lords. stay the course everyone. build more jails and hire more CO's? I become sad when in 2014 adults are so foolish and keep dumping my tax dollars into this quagmire. drug war= waste of time, money, and resources.
