I miss my sister so much. Everyday is so hard to get through. I don't think a day will go by that I don't cry for Beth. The only peace I have about this is knowing that she is with Jesus. And one day we will see her again!! So for everyone that drives on these roads remember to slow down look twice and always remember leave ahead of time. Nothing is as important as a loved one.

It isn't just speed.. Distracted drivers are doing serious damage on our roads and Nothing is being done about.. Too many people think it's okay if they get on their phone and worse yet text while driving..

I think that drivers should also learn time management. To many people wait to the last minute then they fly so they can get where they have to be on time.

I agree. No matter how fast you go, it never seems fast enough for the driver behind you. People, life is a gift! My children are precious cargo and I want to arrive alive, NOW BACK OFF. The sheriffs, state patrol, city police, etc. NEED to start doing their job by STOPPING those people who tailgate! Maybe the DMV should have people who need to renew their license start taking the written test again. Simple laws, such as driving 5 miles per hour slower at night and for every 10 miles per hour the speed limit, you need to remain 10 feet back from the person in front of you - BUT if the person in front of you is tailgating the person in front of them, ADD MORE ROOM (and make the person behind you even more angry - not my problem). I might be the only one who feels that way, but it might help save a life.

I drive these roads nearly everyday as a courier, and boy, let me tell you- if you are not driving as fast as the guy behind you in his big truck (they are always in a big truck) they get as close to your rear as possible so you know just how much you are in their way, which makes turns hair-raising. I have nearly been rear-ended many times on 89 and 87. It necver seems to matter if I'm going 45 or 65, it's always too slow for them.
