My parent's said use any kind of flour and it will keep bugs off! I use the flour on all of my plants and don't have bugs. Just sprinkle over plants after rain or watering. You don't have to put on heavy and if it rains or if you water and it doesn't come off you don't have to retreat.. I go to any dollar store and pick up small bag and keep in freezer until needed.
