I would rather have Scott over Crist any day, one of the worst type of politicians is a party flip-flopper, how can one respect a person like that.

@DT I don’t fall into that category. I am pro-life, AND I taught the sex education part of the life management skills class for many years. My children have been thoroughly educated as to the consequences of sex outside of marriage and sex without some form of protection. It doesn’t work if you don’t know how to use it! A good example would be birthcontrol pills and the use of antibiotics. Most people are not aware that if they are on BC pills, the use of antibiotics can decrease their effectiveness and an unwanted pregnancy can occur. I still maintain that there are many unecessary pregnancies because of lack of consistent, responsible use of birth contol.

It’s a gross generalization to say that only irresponsible and lazy people (ahem, women) get abortions. In fact, according to the Guttmacher Institute’s February fact sheet, 51% used some form of birth control. The underlying issue here is the lack of sex education, and yet it seems the very people who are against abortion are also against proper education. I don’t know how many of the 51% were using birth control correctly, but I’m willing to guess that at least half weren’t. Think about it.

Thank you Alarmed and Armed for saying it like it is. Abortion is a tool of convenience for people who are too lazy to use birth control responsibly. Thank you Gov. Scott for making it more difficult so that these pregnant women have a bit more time to consider if they REALLY want to get an abortion, or if it was the thought of the moment that made them consider it. North end resident – that is just ridiculous!

he needs to go.killing a human is so wrong.they feed prisoners for like and kill a baby,whats wrong with this man/ would he kill his own flesh and blood? wonder how he would feel if his daughter wanted an abortion? he shouldn’t be able to regulate nothing.we pay taxes and we have no say so. as for as e-cigs they better for you than regular cigs and I do agree onething kids don’t need them.i guess he would rather see you smoke regular cigs and die before you can collect social surcurity.

Next scott will Force us to go to doctor he demands us to go. Go to hospital he says. Buy from the grocery store he says. When we can eat. What we can eat. Silly yes! Although, where does it stop?? where does ours rights in florida stand today compared to other states. Just something to consider. Time for scott to go. Too far right. Its an outrage to restrict murder? Wow.

Nan Rich has issues. I’m outraged she is even in any position to make decisions if she is advocating murdering fetuses. That’s outrageous!

Just imagine you as a fetus and your mom decides to hire a doctor to slide a snipper in and snip your spine. You had a perfectly normal natural plan to be birthed and its snuffed out by your selfish mother, greedy doctor and they laugh about it as they walk out of the doctors office feeling relieved because the doctor can buy some planters for his half million dollar house and your so called mother doesn’t have to deal with her bad decisions meanwhile your corpse is disposed of in some biohazard bag in the back of a Pensacola abortion clinic.

In reality what Gov Scott did was to make getting an Abortion more complicated, involving more doctors, more test and making it much more expensive.

After passing this we need to start tracking how many women end up dying each year because of botched back ally abortions. That is what that law is going to lead too.
