My home backs up to the retention pond that was flooded on Ashland Ave. due to negligence, it has not be attended to at all in the past 10 years I have lived here other than the lawn care that the inmates do every couple years. Like Solace said hurricane season is upon us which should make it even more of an urgency and should be addressed as soon as possible considering there is still standing water in it and has been since the flood. We would like for something to be done about it before we experience another disaster. Thank you

I live in the Osceola area near the golf course and our house has flooded 3 times in the last 10 years. The creek that runs behind our home needs drudging and needs the drainage updated. I need the county to buy me out and make the whole area a retention pond. Come on Escambia county, it isn't a matter of if the area will flood again, it's a matter of when!!!

People in positions with the county that this is their job and has been for a while. my old neighbor hood had a drainage project and the main problem ditch is still full of water. How could we have so many issues with ditches, holding ponds over and over again. Could we use the old ball and chain program to clean up our area. Might as well get some real work out of the people that are sitting in prison. You know the ones that break into our homes and cars. I say rotate then in and out 8-10 hours a day like the rest of us hard working tax paying people.

The retention pond and conservation area behind 9779 Harlington street near the corner of Harlington and Joshua Dr(runs behind Joshua drive southwest side) is severely overgrown and has not been draining in the past year. There are now large bushes and pine trees growing in the pond itself and the debris and trees are preventing proper drainage. Every time it rains it takes approximately 4 days to a week to completely drain which is obviously not safe.

It seems as though our little corner of Esc. Co. has been forgotten in all of this flooding.(Oseceola area). This is the 3rd in 10 years that it has flooded in our area and nothing has been done or looked into why as of today. Maybe this property should never been built on?
