Drugs r bad they told me in DARE. If you smoke pot YOU WILL SHOOT A PIZZA DELIVERY GUY N DO HEROIN LIKE JOHN SAID. Alcohol is okay though because it’s legal. Nothing like coming home from a hard day’s work, getting blacked out on Budweiser like a GOOD American.

All that smoke pot are fools, and don’t seem to understand or care to understand the fact and this story above proves it that POT IS OFTEN A STEPPING STONE TO HARDER DRUGS. People never learn’ so when they don’t, they should pay the consequences.

I have also known Mr. Burgess for many years and know him to be a kind and compassionate person. He would never intentionally hurt someone. Anyone that truly knows him is having a very difficult time wrapping their mind around the fact that he had any part in this. Unfortunately he made a very bad choice that led to another person being injured. He chose to call the police himself which shows he has taken responsibility for his actions. He too needs help. And he too needs prayer.

A lot of people do lots of things on drugs that they wouldn’t do off of them. That’s why you don’t take drugs. He may not have intended to wind up shooting somebody, but he intended to take the drugs knowing the possible effects, so he is just as responsible for whatever he does on them.

I have known Mr.Burgess for many years, I tutored him when he was in high school and he became a friend. Off drugs he would have never done this. He made unfortunate choices it seems. However, I am sure he feels sincere guilt and remorse.

@Perdido Fisherman. I remember the window pane acid of the 70s, observing friends have bad trips and freaking out. That was enough to make me aware that acid was not for me. I was recently made aware of the new acid that is currently available on the market, and replied with a firm no thank you. Never tried it, never will…

I hope people do not misconstrue that it was not the pot, but the LSD that sent this Burgess joker over the edge.

Stay away from the acid period, mushrooms too as hallucinations are not good.

Actually 429SCJ, some very successful research has been done lately with LSD, It has been used to stop cluster migraine headaches, treat PTSD and many more physical and psycological conditions. It’s a different experience when used in a controlled enviroment versus bath tub acid at Bubba’s house.
I’m all for it in a controlled enviroment if it’s going to help someone get thier life back. On the other hand, I am totally against bath tub drugs (Home made drugs). I also believe prohibition is more dangerous than legalization. The records prove that the drug war is a failure
