Mark, I’m sorry as well. Can we just once leave politics out of this and share the moment of one of our fellow citizens who has been honored for excelling at her calling? There are plenty of other stories to bash the political hypocrites with; here is someone from Escambia being justly awarded for “doing it right” and even though I don’t know her, I applaud her success. Seeing this brings back the memories of the teachers who made a difference in my life and didn’t get the political recognition; I’m sure her students are proud she did. And so am I.

Sorry to bring politics in to this, but I just can’t stand to see those hypocrites acting like they care about education in the State of Florida…..they just want to privatize it like every thing else (prisons)and to help their Buds to make millions off the taxpayers
