Kay: I was shocked tonight when I looked at North Escambia Orbit and saw where Lamar had passed. I worked at Monsanto many years with him and admired him because he was such a good Christian and family man. I thought of him each time I went by the flower Shop in Cantonment because I saw him many years back someplace and he told me he was working there part-time. My neighbor Elizabeth VanPelt worked there too after she retired from teaching. She too died several years back. You and your son who he talked about so much at work surely lost a jewel. I too am 80 years but in fairly good help. Have some back problems but when I retired from Monsanto I went to work for the Indian Tribe in Atmore and they had just gotten recognition and I had been a secretary at Monsanto for 32 years and they needed some help so I have just retired last December from there. We live on Highway 97 in Davisville. If you go to Atmore up Hwy 97 and see the Davisville sign that is right in front of our drive. We have a white fence all the way up the hill. Our sincere sympathy. Laura and Eddie Cook
