Playing the lotto is no diffrent than going to the casino, People from around here will drive to atmore or catch the good time tour bus to Biloxi. I say let the casinos rip…and that dont mean rest in peace.

Well not sure where you live goodnews, but when have good paying jobs in technology and manufacturing hit the Florida Panhandle in the last 20 years? Every time In come home to visit, it looks like more companies are closing the doors, or can’t find the skilled work force.

I agree with 429SCJ most of the time and here again, we agree. Greyhound racing is a cruel punishment for the dogs. The dogs are penned up except for training and like most working dogs, given little affections other than a reward for accomplishments.

All I can say about the Politian’s that still indorse this kind of “entertainment”….follow the money; either for financial endorsements or campaign financing.

No to a casino but your schools continue to ask for money to fund them what if porch said no because y’all are in Florida and keep the money in our Alabama schools that support porch

Greyhound racing is a cruel business and one I would not care to soil my hands with.

I can only wonder about the character of the politicians who saddled us with such a despicable practice, all those years ago.

WELL IF HE DONT WANT GAMBLING THEN THEY NEED TO SHUT DOWN ALL THE LOTTERY EVERYTHING THAT YOU GIVE YOUR MONEY TO GAIN ON ANOTHER. IT AINT NO DIFFERENT.

This is great news, especially the proposal dealing with the greyhounds. Just say no to casinos/gambling and say yes to well-paying good jobs in technology and manufacturing.
