To Devestating Dave sorry I have no sympathy for your friend Tom. I hope he spends the rest of his life in prison. Of course he’s probably out by now because it’s been seven years but when I was 25 and he was well into his 40s we were friends and I consider dating him for a minute but I ended up kicking him across the room when he made an unwanted advance. I feel sorry for his wife although I can’t believe she married him and I feel sorry for his child and hope he never touched them. He should be locked away and the key should be thrown out. He is trash.

Wendell, I don’t understand why you are saying I misunderstood the comments.

If you look at “js” on April 5th, say “We shouldn’t spend any money on trials. Take him out back and take him out. Why spend hundreds of thousands keeping this guy locked up. …FACT…’

On April 6th, we see “Sheriff Andy” stating, “I say put, a, bounty on them.”

I thought there were a few other comments like these posted but I may be mistaken or the comments have been deleted by the webmaster.

Logic and common sense should come into play here not a knee jerk reaction to someone’s wrong doing and comments like these are not logical.

I majored in journalism and it’s important if you have a particular belief that you own up to your words of what you say. Otherwise what’s the point?

James, it is difficult sometihat people mean with text. We depend on tone of voice a lot to put people’s statements in context. With that being said, you know damn well nobody is seriously advocating a kangaroo court or punishment without due process. They were voicing exasperation at this man’s actions. Your attempt to be a voice of reason was filled with condescension as well which further degraded your point. We type like we talk, don’t take is so seriously.

Tom will not be executed by the state, so we should pray for him too.

Terrie Sanders I understand your point but this vigilante justice isn’t a sane proposal for a civilized society like ours in the United States. Otherwise this type of justice would create utter chaos because people would feel taking someone out and killing them without a trial is justice. We don’t need that in the United States. Or unless you feel the wild wild west days are preferred. Victims should have fair treatment just as the persons arrested. Rally for victim’s rights and harsher judges. Elect those who will stand firm on victim justice. But vigilante or bounty hunters, no thank you.

TO James Broel ; our judicial system in usually not fair or just for the victims. This is why our society is in the shape it is in. Criminals have more rights than victims. There is a reason that we as the most developed country in the world has one of the highest crime rates by recurring criminals . Our incarcerated live much better than our elderly. We put more emphasis on saving whales while legally killing babies.
