Why don’t we just save the state some money and stop making speed limit signs. Doesn’t do any good to put them up, cause most people don’t care how fast they are going. Nor do they pay attention to how fast the speed limit is.

I would like to see FDOT reevaluate the roads in the panhandle. This area of Florida is nothing like the rest of the state. In my opinion the road layout mimics Mobile more than Florida.

Everyone drives 75-80 anyways. I guess those speed limit signs will be a little less of a joke now.

I wonder if anyone from the portion of FDOT that made this decision has even been in Escambia County, or driven this portion of highway. Did Florida legalize drugs? That could explain this decision, too.

So now does this mean that the on-ramp transitioning from south-bound 29 to east-bound I-10 will have even faster traffic to merge with?

That should make it even safer/easier to merge onto I-10 eastbound at Hwy 29.
