dale,
Escambia County, Florida:
Love it -- as is -- or leave it?

Not that I don't love it, but could imagine an improvement or two.

—————————————

I was reading the other day where the county was planning to take over the private water and wastewater treatment for Innerarity Island -- I think it was -- which serves some 200 residences and upgrade it at a cost of some seven million dollars, figuring they can pay for it with money from our Local Option Sales Tax money, LOST. It makes the unpaid loan to freeze the Civic Center for hockey look less criminal.

Brickton Road needs repaving between the "test" cold mix and Molino Utilities digging holes in the asphalt every few months , it has so many dips and potholes that it makes it almost impossible to drive on your side of the road. The utilities need to be moved from under the road , because no matter how great they fix the road when the utility company does repairs they do a crappy job of fixing the pavement back!! Molino Utilities needs to be held accountable for repairing the roads correctly!!!

Wow I wish the county would take the dirt road I live on. I don't think our dirt road would be as bad if ECUA wasn't on it, it seems like I front of all the garbage cans big dips appear in the road.

The cold mix was a good start years ago and held up pretty good but glad to see ASPHALT going down everywhere. Our top coat of asphalt is greatly appreciated on Wilder Road. Frankie I agree Mckinnonville St. is a launching pad right in front of your house. A very tricky convergence zone there. Look Out Bro!

Cedartown Road not mentioned
needs paving if for no other reason than to cut down on water pollution from runoff

where are the speed bumps? and you may aswell take the stop sign down at molino road and mckinnonville st. they never use it . that road is more like a air strip, made for landing and takeing off. the police could have a field day at that intersection, they also need to put a helocopter pad in that lot beside that intersection, for life flight they will be busy!!!!!!! william i will send you the pictures when the wrecks begin. oh yea the paved road I do like, I want have to wash the dust off my house and truck as much as I was thanks Roads Inc.
