The US Marshall Service had to be called the first time he was arrested. That should have been a clue that he was a flight risk from the start, so the bond should have been set accordingly. I’m with the little girl in Don’s post. They should have kept him when they were photographing him!!

A man and his little girl were in the post office when the girl saw the wanted posters tacked to the wall “what are those dad” she asked? the dad explained they were criminals the law was looking for,the little girl look at him confused and said “why didn’t they just keep them after they took their pictures” ?

So, not for one instance did someone ever consider this one might be a flight risk? Failure to appear, more like never intended to appear…oh but he’s just a murder suspect.
