My mother, Johnie Johnson, the After School Childcare Director at the time, brought her aunt, Sarah Parham, to visit Bratt Elementary in 1999, just before she turned 101. The children enjoyed her life story and asked many questions about what she saw and did as a child. They sent cards and letters to her and she enjoyed them immensely. She passed away just a few months before her 102 birthday.

I so wish we had a way for our youngest and oldest to spend time together and learn from each other.
