We have email now for people who complain about the price of stamps and you can pay your bills on line, so what’s to complain about!!! The only people who use the post office are the ones that have no other option. If you check around you’ll find out the United States is the cheapest place on earth to mail a letter. They probably will privatize one day and you can complain to somebody in India then. Good Luck!!!!

Great solution. People are looking else where to save money as much as they can. So they go to FEDEX/UPS for the same service. What is the Governments answer to the Post Office revenue? Put the price up!! Oh great, that’s will make people use the mail more now…..duh!!
Obama world answer, just throw money at it. Just like the car industry and Airlines. Like any other business if it goes under, it goes under for a reason. Mainly no one wants what you are selling or people want a good deal.

I have never understood why when you mail a letter from Brewton it has to go to Montgomery and then back to Brewton. Here is to giving the local post offices more power from Montgomery. Postmark local letters and then keep them in town and sort them. Save Money.

I work for a doctor’s office here in Pensacola who still has to utilize the postal service for incoming and outgoing mail. This increase blows and may cause me to not get a raise in June (the doctor’s are all in private practice). Thanks, American Government, for sucking the life out of all of us once again! Preesh
