It was mentioned in a comment below and was clickable on my phone…..guess what…it does exist!!! It just leads back to NorthEscambia.com. Maybe they will expand one day. Sure hope so!

Nothing is going to repair the damage done to the PNJ but the ONLY possibility, and its still unlikely, would be to put the entire paper online in the form of the current layout with clickable articles. Not going to happen but it could save the paper if the cost per month was not too high. Of course some better reporting would be a boost but just plugging in articles from out of the area will do nothing to save the paper.

What we, the people of the south end, need is a SouthEscambia.com or maybe Pensacola-GulfBreeze-Beach.com to replace the mullet wrapper.

NorthEscambia is great but we need more south end coverage.

Now maybe the PNJ can get in touch with the conservative NW FL. Conservative blood is definitely needed here. Maybe take a lesson from NorthEscambia while he’s at it. You know increase article accuracy and other stuff.

Welcome to Pensacola. Get out there are meet everyone and figure out which behinds to kiss, which people must approved your stories before they run and who pulls the puppet strings on the PNJ.

In the meantime, the masses will cotinue to get our news from north escambia, rick’s blog and the tv station’s website. The news journal is an important part of pensacola’s history, but not pensacola’s future.
