Don't use any electricity unless you absolutely need to. Turn off everything not in use. You probably need your refrigerator and hot water heater, but most of the time you do not NEED your heat and/or air. Keep them off and use the a fan in the summer. Bundle up in the winter. The more electricity you use, the higher your electric bill. Why do you want to make Gulf Power Shareholders any richer than they already are? Even the very rich (like the homeowner in Plantation Hills in Gulf Breeze who was charged with stealing electricity) can't afford their electric bills. Gulf Power continues to offer mindless, costly "tips," but has absolutely no sympathy or assistance available for anyone who cannot afford to pay their electric bills.
