Like many other things the "big thinkers" feel like putting up a façade is the answer to cover ups for underlying problems that need to be resolved. “Florida Welcomes You”
Instead of putting up some dumb looking sign with a “…40-foot-wide mock-cable suspension bridge…” why not just fix the roads so anyone, tourist or resident, coming into and driving in Florida can say, “Hey, these are Great roadways, no bumps, thumps or potholes and even the rural roads are well maintained.”
