This seems reasonable and logical to me. The town council seems to be allowing for rural residential and agricultural zones with in the city limits, with setbacks to keep animals. I think they are insuring that people in a smaller town setting do not infringe upon another's residence or fence with animals that can damage property or harbor insects and disease in close quarters. Excess animal feces pollutes storm water run off. It seems it is a step in the right direction to insure public health. Makes sense to me.

This is very reasonable, it calls for enough space to keep an animal is an appropriate setting. The city of Century has to legislate common sense and respect for citizens who don't seem to have it themselves.

This is actually backwards. There is a movement in the rest of the country to reverse the trend of having moved all livestock far away from towns and cities. People like animals and so they fill their yards with dogs. Dogs? C'mon.
