Reality, It’s not unusual for tradesman to keep a $1000.00 or more worth of tools in thier car. I don’t see why that’s so hard to believe. There are several meth heads and polysubstance abusers who live in that area, not to mention some teenagers who live in that area who will rob you blind…

please also be on the lookout for door to door people trying to clean your carpet. we had them visit yesterday. dirty gray car with no company with no business going to peoples house. report all activity in our area!!!!

I like it, Robert S., Lock it or lose it is exactly right….why would you leave a car or house unlocked? Two things save lives and your “stuff,” they both have locks on them…seat belts and door/windows!

It certainly is sad that the vehicle was broken in to, but who keeps $1000 worth of stuff in a car unless its a high grade audio system that the unhooked and stole?

My wife made the mistake early in the year of leaving one of our cars unlocked. The crack head across the street stole about $1000.00 worth of stuff out of the car. The girl knows that we know she did it. She also hit one of our neighbors cars too. The cops took prints and the usual police report. They couldn’t do anything do to lack of evidence plus her prints were not in the system. luckily her kids were taken away and she moved. It was a life lesson. Please double or even triple check your vehicle before you retire for the evening. People will steal anything that’s not nailed down.
